Yanga Sobetwa progresses the reception of ‘Jesus O Ntekane’ .

 Last week Friday, Mmuso Worship released the second installment of ‘Jesus to The City’ which is a continuation of society that champions the signature elements of Gospel. Capetonian Yanga Sobetwa progresses the reception of Jesus To The City single titled ‘Jesus o Ntekane’ as it reaches 100K views within three days.



 

In her recent interview, Yanga Sobweta dwelled more on what led Mmuso Worship to bring ‘Jesus O Ntekane’ to life from while highling the influence of Mmuso Worship. “The inspiration behind the song...... the person who came up with the idea of the song. There was a time we were about to record but we had to postpone... to record my project then Mfundisi came in and said "let's do a session because I felt like I need some new music”. Yanga Sobetwa further on touched base on what pushed Mmuso Worship to bring this spiritual single to life and the inspiration behind the single, “ the backstory of the song and how he got inspired to write the song is that his mother – Mmuso Worship Priest Mother, was in hospital and the doctors were saying this lady is not going to make it, take her home.... and in such a weird place, he somehow and somewhere got the revelation and understanding that Jesus O Ntekane, which actually means Jesus is Enough, even in this situation and had the confidence to say Jesus is still enough” said the Idols S16 Recipient.

 

‘Jesus O Ntekane’ forms part of Jesus To The City, which houses 16 tracks and advocates for a society that champions Jesus Christ.
