Social Media Life is not for me, however.......
There was a time where rallying calls were not mercy and were coming in the form of thunderstorms. When I say ‘rallying calls’, I mean it was time for me to take care of my social media life because culture was starting to rope me in deeper than I thought it would. For the first time when that call came in, I was still a student at Umyezo Wama Apile High School and had no idea of how to maneuver my social media life, to even act on it is a lie because at that time to, I was just focused on my studies though they expanded my focus into deejaying, however, I was not really a social media person.
But, I have come to realize that I need to act on those rallying calls because they were pleading towards my craft at that time ( Remember this was before I became a music blogger because I was a DJ at that time). Hence, I have become more in contact with my journey as a music blogger even with my personal account on Facebook, I have become more in contact with what transpires in the entertainment scene. Yes, I have a little bit of touch base on my personal life but I have come to take care of my social media life, which is to touch base on what transpires in the entertainment scene. However, one thing I hate about is that to someone who truly knows me or lives within my environment fail to understand what exactly I am doing in life and I truly believe social media life is not for me but the journey and purpose I have taken in life pushes me to delve into that road though I honestly believe that life is not for people like me.
The moral of this post: Social Media life is not staged for people like, however, we have to sacrifice to make sure that we take care of our dreams because our dreams are paraded through the medium of Social Media and we have to overshadow the criticism that our peers come with, not positive criticism.
